Mr.Hoppes #9,where have you been all my life? This smells so good I may where it as cologne and really turn Gigi on...I got my recoil springs for the PCII 9mm&45 yesterday and glad to say not a problem replacing them.I practiced taking the guns apart and putting them back together and it wasn't as bad as I had thought. My question is I use REM oil or Hoppes oil on a regular basis to lube the firearms but I watched a video where the person used a white grease for the slide before reassembly. Any advise or other remedies out there in Kimber Forum land?

Kimber says not to use grease on their guns but I've been playing with some "Brian Enos slide glide" on an older well broken in 1911 and I like the way it stays put.
