Just saw an add for a Kimber Custom II Stainless "Used, Never fired"

WTH is that like "For sale, used gun, only dropped once!"

If you can believe this......there actually are people out there who "collect guns"!! They don't carry them, they don't shoot them, they just lock them up in a safe or under glass just to "have" them!!??!!?? The worst part is that they actually think that their unused, underappreciated firearm is worth more than your well used, trusty old carry pistol!! HOW RUDE!!!!

A couple hundred years from now that may mean something, but right now, it is just a waste of a fine firearm!!!!

That's what I was telling Sweetie. She bought that Custom Crimson Carry II and it hasn't had a bullet in the magazine, much less fired. I cleaned it right after we got it home, but after that it has been in the safe.

I absolutely agree!! The most valuable firearms to me & my brother are the ones that were very well used by our father & grandfather. My #1 fav is grandpa's rifle with a bulged barrel - as a kid he would stick the end of the barrel down a gopher hole & fire if the gopher tried to 'get away'...
My 2nd fav is Dad's High Standard pistol that he used in the Marines. Very well used & well loved guns!
