I also have CCC and have had no issue with the laser. I would be on the phone to Kimber in a heart beat. Ask for Sergio in CS. I have spoken to hin a couple of times and he seems most knowledgeable. Let us know what you find out.

If you have to send it back to Kimber, get a set of MeproLight night sights installed, you'll be glad you did.

Good point OLE442.....Crimson Trace also warrants the laser diode and has a "Battery for Life" program too. Owners must register their CT grip with CT (not by gun serial #).

Anybody notice this thread is from March 2013 and the OP hasn't been on the forum since April 2013?

I have the CCCII. I found the activation switch on the grip required me to hold the gun differently than I like. If I used my normal quip my finger wouldn't quite press hard enough on the switch so it would be on and off a lot. Personally I don't think shooting a laser is easy or accurate. Made me feel like a cat chasing a laser pointer. I took the grips off and put on some that give me excellent purchase on the gun. Bottom line, before you decide there is something wrong with the CTC grips, double check your pressure on the switch.
