Ultra with steel frame

I carry my Ultra Aegis ll 80% of the time (3" barrel, 9mm). It has an aluminum frame but the felt recoil is the same or less than my Glock 19. The Glock is a much larger pistol but the weigh about the same. Any time you add weight to a pistol the felt recoil will almost always be less. IMO Kimber does a great job with felt recoil be it an alloy frame or steel. Buy what suits your needs and desires and shot the crap out of it. Be safe and have fun!! My 2 cents for what it's worth. It's gonna take a while to make a final decision on my next Kimber purchase. I still love the look of the SS Pro Raptor, but for EDC, perhaps an Ultra would be best. I'll just keep reading and asking questions till it becomes clear.
