Don't own a Ultra Carry.
Do have VZ G10 grips on 1911 Govt Models. And am extra pleased with them. They offer a variety of textures. Shown on their website and explained. CS is great help, just give them a call.
They make alot of factory grips for other manufacturers.

Yes, I've bought VG grips in a compact size for a Ultra size Kimber. Why you ask.

VZ Grips are excellent quality, if you look around on eBay or Amazon and search G10 grips for a compact 1911, you will find very similar grips to VZ but a little bit cheaper. They are still good grips but if you order directly from VZ, you have order options that you might not have with the other brands. Get a shoebox ready because it probably won't be your last set of grips. I've bought a bunch of different grips that look nice but it didn't look good on my gun. This is where the shoebox comes in.

Because I will be getting an ultra and I love the way VZ grips look. Just wondered if they were good and which ones fit. Thanks for the answer. Those look great!
From your post I could not tell if you had a problem or question about VZ grips.
Yes the grips in your link will fit...assuming the Ultra you buy comes with standard thickness grips and bushings? Sometimes Ultra's have thin grips and bushings from the factory so you have to get the correct thickness grips or change the bushings in the frame of the pistol.
The grips you picked are 5 out of 5 most aggressive and you may find them to rough if you have delicate hands. But the 35 dollar price is very reasonable and cheap enough to buy different sets if you don't like them.

I spy, with my little eye; something sapphire.
Yes indeed! That's an old picture. The Sapphire Ultra (in true BBQ form) is now wearing real Blue Ivory. New pics on iPad I may add later.

Speaking of G10 grips, these from Cool Hand on my Kimber Pro CDP's.....

Again, but on my T-Series Browning Hi-Power:

VZ and Cool Hand are most likely the two most popular outfits that offer nice G10 grips for the 1911. They both offer standard and thin grip options, along with the proper grip screws and bushings for both. Because of an old Vietnam hand injury, all my 1911's wear thin grips, and these two outfits have always served my needs very well.

To me, personal grips on a favored handgun really "make" the weapon! ;)

Penny, I have the exact same gun in .45 acp and it is one of my favorite firearms.
I have shot several thousand rounds without a single hiccup, and it was my EDC for a while.
The Kimber Ultra series are the best compact 1911s in the industry.
You are gonna love it.

100% agree Ninja. And Penny, I also have the exact same one as Ninja in .45 ACP as well. Take our word you will not regret that purchase. I have a few other Ultras as well that are more “bbq” style beautiful, but that stainless .45 was my first and is the cornerstone of my Ultra tribe.
