Ok I freely admit I am not the most detailed oriented person but could some one explain to me what is the difference in a Kimber ultra carry II and a Kimber ultra CDP II. I have been working my wife hard for a Kimber crimson ultra carry II for Christmas and now I'm not sure where they differ ?

There are some minor differences. The most obvious is that the Ultra Carry II is all black and the Ultra CDP II is stainless over black. The CDP's also come with night sites. The guns are the same size, carry capacity and function. There is also slightly more than $400 difference in suggested retail price.

I own the Ultra CDP II and love it. The night sights are amazing, and worth the extra money. Both are great Guns!
