Hi

What should I do to prepare for a CCP.
I have my permit since 2008 Sportsman/Target
Just purchased a Kimber Ulta Covert II. I do know
parole officers and probation officers. I just need to have the
training, reasons and wait before I would apply. Any feedback would be
appreciated.

Hi Mark first you will need a very good reason. own a business carry large amounts of cash ect. ect. I have heard that some armed guards have unrestricted permits. hope this helps.

I you realy want to get a CCP, you need to move to another state!

it would be far easier. NY is tuff but not impossible.

Check with the licensing agent in your town or county. Depending on where you live it might not be as difficult as you might imagine. I live in PA very close to the NY border and run in to many guys from Orange and Ulster counties that have full carry permits, with that permit they can also get a non resident PA permit although I cannot get a NY non resident. The further you live from the city, the less complicated the process is.
