I found this spring on the floor of the bathroom.I changed the recoil springs in my two PCII and field cleaned GiGi's Ultra in the dining room.I thought it may have come out of one of the three and even got online and looked at each of the guns parts illustrations.I couldn't find this spring on any of them but it's driving me nuts wondering what it belongs to.Even with the ice and snow in StLou today,I 4-wheeled it up to the range and we shot all 3 without any problems.Has anybody seen this spring in a PCII or an Ultra TLE???

Firing pin block spring on those so equipped
Sear on Colt Gold Cup only
Those found in adjustable sights

Jeff, off hand I don't recognize it, could you take another picture of it next to a ruler so we can get an idea of it's size?

This it with a ruler.I went down the entire parts list of springs and this doesn't look like any of them.

The same here.I can't figure out how a spring would stay on my clothing then make it 25 feet to the bathroom.Like I said,the 3 guns work fine but just really making me go nuts trying to figure out where it belongs.

Now that you mention it, it could be from one of her hair thingies, some of them are spring loaded.

Just checked all of them and none missing.I give up.They probably aren't from the guns since they shoot and I was very careful when I took them apart.Something will come up with a missing spring.Thanks guys..

Not a chance.I was 6'3 220 lbs when I met GiGi 3 years ago and after MANY Mexican meals later,I'm sure I've added another 20.I'm sure I would lose a few from her chasing me around the house if she read this thread...

I just went to the bathroom to trim up my goatee and it turned on but no trimmer head movement.I took the top off and ya never will guess what is missing??? Problem is solved.I'm just glad it wasn't from any of my guns or her gun/toyz...Thanks for all the help my peeps...
