JMHO but I have a personal problem with a light attached to a gun. Imagine being awakened in the middle of the night by a noise. You grab your gun to investigate, you go into another room and find yourself pointing your .45, 9mm, .380 or whatever at your grandchild that was spending the night at your house. That's just one of a ton of examples, you don't ever point a gun at anything that you're not willing to completely destroy.

Don't get me wrong, I believe in having a flashlight. I have a small 1000 lumen flashlight sitting on my nightstand, I just don't believe in attaching them to the gun. The light I have can be used as a striking weapon, the sharpened bezels on the front and back will cut and tear.
