No, they may be great mags but at that price it makes me wonder. You really can't tell anything about them by looking at a picture.

Are you a gambler? I had bought some non branded magazines for a mini-14 at a great price but had to modify them slightly to work properly. But in the end I was happy as I usually tinker with everything anyway!

 Not me.

I don't even like the standard mag Kimber sold the gun with. I have one Kimpro (7 rd) and two Wilson Combat (8 rd). I really like them.

I think you guys are right, they were probably made in china I sent the seller an email asking what make they were ( no reply yet) .

So i aired on the safe side and bought a couple of Wilson combats .
I think you made a good decision.

Three for 50 dollars is about $16.00 each plus any shipping, which to me is not a good deal for an unknown product. IMO

They look very much like AMT .45 mags.

Buy magazines of unknown quality or origin? NOT!!!!

The key to the functioning of a 1911 is the magazine. I spent a bunch of money on my Kimber Custom Stainless II, so I'm not going to start cutting corners on magazines.:cool:

Currently, I have the original 7 round stainless mag that came with my pistol, an 8 round stainless Kimber mag I purchased with the pistol and an 8 round Chip McCormick stainless. These three mags all feed perfectly. Not a single mis-feed in all of the thousands of rounds I have put through this pistol. That includes being dropped on concrete floors in competition. I may pick up another magazine or two. If I do, they will be either Chip McCormick or Wilson Combat! No guessing games here!! ;);)

FWIW, I'm a fan of skirted, 8 round Wilson Combat mags. Just seems to work better. Is it better? I don't know. But I do know my confidence level is WAY up with the Wilson's.
