Good luck. Seen a few on Gunbroker and GunsAmerica web sites, BUT I think they were all new in box. I was unable to find a like new used Sapphire.

Elidar, if you are still looking. I just saw a Sapphire listed on the GunsAmerica website. LNIB with 50 rounds fired for $1,500.00, which is $125.00 less than Kimber's MSRP. Located in Texas. FYI.

I have seen them for sale before, but not recently at my local shops. Good luck.
His OP says he is not looking to buy new, that could be a problem. I don't think very many people that own a Sapphire are ready to sell. The one I told him about this morning on GunsAmerica was LNIB, less than MSRP. Not sure of his budget.

Thanks for keeping me in mind!

Thanks for keeping me in mind, it's still on my wish list, but the purchase of the Kimber Custom for $650 yesterday sorta puts this on hold for a while.

Good find on the Kimber Custom! There are some Sapphire's out there but there don't seem to be a lot of used ones on the market. I was under the impression from several gun shops that they were no longer being produced but one of the members here spoke with someone at Kimber and was told dealers could still order them. So I don't know.

Why?

Why buy a Kimber Sapphire?

Why buy a work of art crafted in America which is the perfect fit for my wife, who likes the my Eclipse, but the kick is a bit too much?

Why buy something that makes me happy, gets my wife more involved with a hobby I love, and makes her feel more comfortable?

I may have a better question... and pardon my french...

But...

Why the hell not?

People look at all my firearms and knives and ask that same question. I don't really have a good answer. I feel grateful, that at the end of the day, after taking care of the responsibilities of a husband and father ( 5 of em last I counted ), I have a little scratch to stash away for my next toy. The Sapphire is a jewel of a gun (bad pun), And it's a Kimber. And when people ask why just look them straight in the eye, smile, and say "cuz".

Not meant to question Elidar73 reasons for wanting a Sapphire. I am on his side. I have a Sapphire, love it.

I got that

I understood you were questioning him and I was answering him.

I knew you had one, and had even kept an eye out for me on one.

Appreciate your support.
