Has anyone had issues with hollow points in the Micro 380? When we try to load it, they are getting hung up and won't load.

I would contact a member here named "SnowTao." She's always used one and probably has fired more rounds through it than anyone.

I have a P238 as a back-up pistol. I have a good feed ramp on the barrel and bought custom seven-round magazines, making sure the feed lips were solid and parallel.

It hasn't had a stoppage since I bought it. It fires even when it's so sooty I have trouble hand-cycling a round.

I've had no problems with the Hornady and Fiocchi 90gr XTP rounds. Keep in mind a 250-300 round break in period with FMJ ammo would be a good idea before looking to find your pistols favorite carry ammo. A thorough cleaning and lube at every 100 rounds or so would be a good idea too...
If you go back in the Micro .380 forum you'll find some great info on your little darling :)
I hope things get sorted out, keep us posted, good luck.

Welcome to the site from Tennessee.

Clean it, put extra lube on it and for gosh sakes start with some FMJ round ball ammo for at least a few hundred rounds before using hollow point ammo.

Welcome to the forum from northern Illinois kaintucki and congratulations on the new Micro. As 2sharp2 suggested, get the gun broken in with FMJ ball ammo before trying to find a carry load.

How about stopping by our "New Member Introduction" sub forum and introducing yourself to the membership.

I had issues with my .380 also. Clean lube, repeat. That is a for sure thing. I also use only 95gr FMJ, Aguila, Remington UMC, Fiocchi and Sig which is 100gr. Hornaday Critical Defense for protection rounds. I have tried others but, the little Raptor seems to eat these at the range without any FTF.

Welcome to the forum from a Middle Tennessean...do as the others mentioned and you can't go wrong. Our Micro Carry 380 really likes the American Eagle brand...
