At this price, I think they will be a huge hit.

Well I broke down and bought one in 9mm. The stainless version. I'm not a huge fan of the Kimpro finish, they scratch way too easy. And if you looked close at the review videos that have the 2 tone models, I saw way too many shiny spots on the black finishes. Scratched off. But I got the SS model in, and as always, took it apart to clean. OH MY GOSH. The barrel bushing is TIGHT. As in once I remove spring and then slide from frame, I had to pull barrel hard to get the bushing to come out. All my other 1911s have a fairly loose fit on the bushing but the outer diameter is tight to the slide. Barrel fit is close, but to good tolerance. Slide to frame is good and tight, no extra slop at all. Everything else looks and feels fine. Cleaned and oiled up and put it back together. Ran one magazine of cheap Maxxtech 124gr and one magazine of 124gr federal just to test. Zero issues on that little test. Dropped the cases 3 feet behind me and about 2 feet to the right. No failures to eject. It's been raining and I'll get back out and run a pile of various ammo through it over the weekend.

Just added a Riton 3 Tactix PRD RMR. 2MOA dot with 50moa circle. 4th one on my guns. Love the circle and dot. And the lovely thing is that the Next Gen guns come with a plate for RMRs unlike the Kds9c that I had to buy a $95 plate for. Gun is truly red dot ready. Sighted it in with my laser training module, shot a couple of mags worth to get it right on at 12 yards. And the nice thing about adding these is it makes old hands easy to rack a slide.
