Picked up this CDS9. This gun is really well done! Beautiful piece! Can't say enough about it. I have several Kimber's but Kimber really hit the bullseye with this one! Absolutely love it!
I got mine for $864, non threaded, just for reference. Seemed like a fair price.Congrats. I've been trying to get a CDS9 since mid October. Can't find any except for the extreme prices being suggested. I'll wait.
Yeah that’s robbery. Thanks for the info. I haven't seen anything less than $1100. I refuse to be abused.
True. I live in the communist state of Illinois. Threaded barrels, etc are not allowed. In this state, we're all children who need guidance to survive in this big bad world. So sayeth Gov. Flintstone.Yeah that’s robbery.
I like that light, what are you doing for a holster?
I actually paid $909 plus tax. Had a 10% coupon they let me use. I did have to pay the tax though. Came to $983.When I started shopping for my CDS9, KyGunCo was the only place showing them in stock...but in hindsight (and with a response to my "where is it?" inquiry), they were probably taking pre-orders. Happily, I paid $179 less in total at KyGunCo than what MidwayUSA is asking. But now I'm worried...according to MidwayUSA, they're not expecting deliveries of the TFS until January 25th 2025...THEN another week to get it to my FFL. I think my Thanksgiving/Christmas gift to me is likely to be a GroundHog Day present.
I'm envious. My Micro 9 is consistently 7.3 lbs and is building a painful callous on my finger. Speced at 7 lbs by Kimber, I'm mystified how you got such good triggers. Mine is going to MCarbo for the full treatment.Based on other posts I decided to put a trigger gauge on my M9. Average of 5 pulls 3.09lbs. That is thrown off by the first pull of 4.16lbs. It is a light trigger for sure...after at least 2000 rounds. I also have a Micro 9 ESV with under 500 rounds. That one has a 5 pull average of 3.99. The higher up on the trigger, the heavier the pull...fairly obvious with a pivoting trigger. Lastly, my Micro 9 Hero Special Edition comes in at 3.10lbs, with about 100 rounds through.
I know this isn't a M9 trigger pull thread...but I've hoping that my future CDS9 gives me something right in the middle of these.
Same, I’m waiting on Holsters to add a TLR7 Sub.The gun does look good.
With a dot, Fiber optic sights and an aiming laser.... I'll bet that sight picture is busy as shit.
I would lose that useless ADE laser and slap a tlr7 sub on it, zero that dot at 25 yards and slap steel out to 100 yards.
The laser button takes an effort to engage and it and the trigger guard is wide. Yea totally agree with multiple accessories may be overkill. My thinking in a life or death confrontation, the red dot sight wouldn't be useful, not quick enough in close range. But the laser would. The red dot MAY be useful in a shopping center scenario if the shooter isn't close but doing their killing 20, 30 or more yards away. I'm playing with both scenarios to dial in the laser and red dot to different distances.I'm afraid that laser all up in the trigger guard my finger would keep hitting it.
Sounds like it's going away anyway.
My micro9 with the mcarbo is just under 5. Much better than stockI'm envious. My Micro 9 is consistently 7.3 lbs and is building a painful callous on my finger. Speced at 7 lbs by Kimber, I'm mystified how you got such good triggers. Mine is going to MCarbo for the full treatment.
I thought the mcarbo kit states only for micro 9 . How did you get it to work for your 380?Did the MCarbo in my Micro .380 and had the same, about 4.5. Ordered it now for the Micro 9.
Same kit for both.I thought the mcarbo kit states only for micro 9 . How did you get it to work for your 380?
