Picked up this CDS9. This gun is really well done! Beautiful piece! Can't say enough about it. I have several Kimber's but Kimber really hit the bullseye with this one! Absolutely love it!
Great find. Please let us know how your range session goes and your general thoughts on it as I’m very interested in it. Oh, and we love pics.$978 total which included $12 background fee. I got a $50 military discount along with $75 discount for opening a new Scheels Visa card which I’ll pay off next month!

Thanks for the heads-up. 👏 I didn't notice that the front sight is very loose and ready to fall off! 🤑 Ordered the Glock tool on Amazon.Welcome to the forum, I didn’t know they were using a Glock style front sight.
Very happy to report that my threaded barrel CDS9 came in today. I had the notification that it shipped Monday, rather, the label was printed Monday …then did its traveling yesterday and delivered today. All I’ve done now is hold it, rack it, and let the hammer own twice. Down with a back injury from the 10” of snow we had earlier this month. So while I have it…I can’t even begin to enjoy it under these spasms die down.
I’ll call it my Inauguration Day gift since it missed all the holidays and arrived before Groundhog Day. Seeing it live, and actually holding it in my hand…oh baby…this is one sweet pistol!
I don’t have a Glock but I do have a Glock Tool. I can’t remember which guns I have that have that front sight. Maybe it’s my wife’s Walter PDP and a PPQ I used to have. Thanks for the heads-up. 👏 I didn't notice that the front sight is very loose and ready to fall off! 🤑 Ordered the Glock tool on Amazon.
Yikes @Yojeffo . So this is two CDS9's with the front sight coming loose or falling off. In the grand scheme of things it's not that big of a deal compared to the Sig Sauer P320 lawsuit; but still. Quality control appears to need tightening up a little bit more. See the pun there....Thanks for the heads-up. 👏 I didn't notice that the front sight is very loose and ready to fall off! 🤑 Ordered the Glock tool on Amazon.

I have several Kimber's but Kimber really hit the bullseye with this one! Absolutely love it! Honestly, it feels better in my hand than my Wilson Combat EDC X9. The weapon light was added for the photo. I don't have weapon lights on my cc. Due to eye issues, a red dot is a must for extended distances. For close quarters, you aim and shoot w/o using the dot.I can’t wrap my head around hanging all that stuff on a compact CC weapon.
Ok but the optic is still there taking space and maybe contributing to having trouble finding a holster. With eye issues on distant threats, escape and avoid if possible. The weapon light was added for the photo. I don't have weapon lights on my cc. I’m with you Arland. Takes it out of the CCW category for me.I can’t wrap my head around hanging all that stuff on a compact CC weapon.
I have a S&W CSX in a Versacarry holster. Flat leather than molds to the firearm, so a one size fits many, and it has a spot for a spare magazine.Have you found any holsters other than what's offered on the Kimber store page?
