Colorado - Scheels is $999 MSRP. I’m not finding anyone under that price that’s in stock on the internet.
Yeah and if you ordered from my guy then there is shipping and a transfer fee so likely won’t save much.

Totally get it. I ran to the gun store and throw money across the counter when the BG 2.0 came out and haven’t been disappointed. During the summer it’s in my pocket 80% of the time.

I carry the CDS9 when wearing a belt and an IWB. I float with a few 1911s as they all fit the same holster and also my R7CC in a different holster obviously. I know rotating carry guns isn’t really the smartest thing to do but aside from the BG and R7 they all have basically the same controls and I practice a lot with all.

I think the biggest thing past ballistics obviously is the red dot. I’m very accurate with the BG at 25 yards though so there’s that. The struggle is real.
I f one is in the market to purchase a firearm this model and desing is one that I would look at very seriously.

I am pleased to report I finally found a CDS9 at a reasonable price at, believe it or not, Bass Pro Shop. They only had one and had just put it out. $800 out the door. Patience is a value as I wasn't about to pay over $1K for this firearm.
wow!! That’s a fantastic price! Great find on that!

I’m shocked Bass Pro had that price. Their Kimber prices usually aren’t that good. Congratulations, nice find, I hope you enjoy it.

Hi folks, new to the forum. I picked up my CDS9 (condition=New) this past weekend at the Dixie Gun and Knife show in Raleigh.

PSA; check if your front fibre sight screw (inside the slide) is tight. After about 70 rds shot, the front sight came unscrewed and completely fell of the slide.

What I noticed was a lack of any loctite on the 3/16 screw. No damage to the barrel or slide but surely was concerned as to why this occurred.

Easy fix with a Glock sight tool and some loctite.

Great firearm. Grips really dig into your hands and give a feel of a firm and secure grip.

Welcome to the forum, I didn’t know they were using a Glock style front sight.

@JC45 believe it or not I read through the manual and this is what they say in the parts breakdown:

51. Front Sight (Glock™ Compatible)
52. Rear Sight (Glock™ Compatible)

This gave me more information to search what type of tool I needed to screw that tiny screw back into the slide.
That’s a smart move, everyone makes Glock sights.

Very happy to report that my threaded barrel CDS9 came in today. I had the notification that it shipped Monday, rather, the label was printed Monday …then did its traveling yesterday and delivered today. All I’ve done now is hold it, rack it, and let the hammer own twice. Down with a back injury from the 10” of snow we had earlier this month. So while I have it…I can’t even begin to enjoy it under these spasms die down.
I’ll call it my Inauguration Day gift since it missed all the holidays and arrived before Groundhog Day. Seeing it live, and actually holding it in my hand…oh baby…this is one sweet pistol!

Holy đź’©!! GLOCK PARTS?!!

Careful! Loctite and re-installing your sight might “void your warranty”! 🤣
