I read the manual, watched the Kimber video...problem is I can't seem to get the Mag Lock side screw to turn and unlock the assembly for removal. Anyone have any thoughts?

Put a 1/16" allen head wrench in the mag release lock. Press the mag release from the left side of the pistol and at the same time, gently try to turn the lock counterclockwise. Vary the pressure you put on the mag release, so that it goes a little in or a little out, until you reach the point where the lock starts to turn. Then gently turn the lock counter clockwise.
Thanks, Chuck....I haven't been pushing from the release side, just the lock side. Will try it today. I've been afraid of stripping the lock screw.
Well: Even following advice from Chuck43, I couldn't get the screw to turn and I was concerned I'd round off the head of the screw if I kept trying. So took it to my gunsmith, and even he had a hard time doing it. 25 minutes/$20 later it's reversed. He said that Kimbers are "tight" in general.
Always use quality allen tools....AND NEVER use ball heads...
